“Baby Come Back” hit single gone
On July 16, 2014 Phoenix Police officers were called to the home of John Friesen, former a drummer for the musical group “Player” in response to a burglary. The burglars had forced entry into the home and stole jewelry, clothing, electronics, and drum roll please……….. 4 original gold records, 2 45s and two LPs (albums) awarded for the hit single “Baby Come Back”.
The Phoenix Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for this burglary. Witnesses have reported a dark bluish-green Cadillac Escalade was near the home during the time of the break-in and that the odd color of the vehicle would stand out. Police are also concerned the suspect(s) may attempt to sell the stolen gold record awards.
Any caller may remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $1000.00.
