Yavapai County sexual assault suspect awaiting trial arrested for harassing victim

Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report that 49-year-old Thomas Bolton of Wilhoit, Arizona, violated court ordered conditions by harassing his minor aged victim in front of a Wilhoit business. Bolton is out on bond with specific conditions of release directing that he is to not to have contact with the victim in this case. Bolton’s charges included Sexual Assault and Sexual Conduct with a minor from a 2013 case. He is scheduled for trial in October of 2014.

Deputies learned that on September 7, 2014, Bolton drove into a business parking lot and blocked the path of a vehicle containing the victim and her friend. Bolton began screaming at the pair and intimidating the victim who was extremely fearful of Bolton’s actions in light of his past behavior and the pending court case. Bolton eventually left after the victim and her friend entered the business to seek help.

The following morning, September 8, 2014, deputies located Bolton at his home and arrested him for charges including Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, Disobey Judicial Order and felony Aggravated Harassment. Bolton is being held without bond.
