
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help to identify a teen who robbed a Quick Mart with a gun in his back pocket.
Detectives are currently investigating a robbery of the Quik Mart store located at 900 W. Roger Road. The incident occurred on September 12, 2014, at approximately 9:11 p.m.
Deputies who initially responded to the store learned that a young man had been in the store and attempted to leave with two 18-packs of beer. When confronted by the store clerk, the young man made threatening remarks. During that interaction, the clerk also noticed a gun in the teenager’s back pocket.
The suspect was last seen walking northbound along Fairview Avenue.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, between 16 and 18 years old, and approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a black and white checkered shoulder pattern. The shirt also had red and black tassels. The young man wore a red and black baseball cap, sunglasses, dark blue jeans and red shoes.
