On Tuesday night at approximately 7 PM, Wade Dickinson, now 29, was located and arrested within an apartment building in Las Vegas. A team of the deputies from the US Marshalls Service, working with YCSO detectives who had recently arrived in Las Vegas to assist, developed information indicating the likelihood Dickinson was staying in a particular apartment building near the airport and adjacent to the strip. Following surveillance activities, Dickinson’s presence was confirmed and he was arrested on the fugitive warrant inside one of the apartments without incident.

On July 14, 2014 ,Yavapai Silent Witness, 1800-932-3232  offered a $7000 reward for information leading to the arrest of fugitive Wade Cole Dickinson, 28, who escaped from the Camp Verde Detention Center.  None of the many tips that were received led directly to Dickinson’s arrest. As a result, the reward has been cancelled .

Detectives are not disclosing further details as the investigation remains active in regards to those who aided him following the escape.

Dickinson was booked into Nevada’s Clark County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition on Yavapai County escape charges and a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Sheriff Mascher truly appreciates the efforts of the US Marshalls Service and all of the law enforcement officers involved in the search. He would also like to thank those in the public who called with tips and leads. The community support is appreciated.
