The Sheriff’s Department is asking for public assistance to identify and locate this suspect who committed this armed robbery.

On September 20, 2014, at approximately 7:40 PM, deputies with the Sheriff’s Department Foothills Patrol District responded to a reported robbery at the QuikMart located at 4611 N. Flowing Wells Road. Witnesses said the suspect walked up to the counter, lifted his shirt and revealed a handgun in his waistband.

He demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled southbound with an undisclosed amount of cash. A white passenger car may be involved in the incident as well, but no further description is available. The entire incident took less than a minute.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Robbery/Assault Unit are investigating this case and are asking the public for help.

The suspect was described as an African-American man with short, curly hair. He is approximately 5’7” to 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, black shorts, black sunglasses, and black shoes.
