Border Patrol agents arrested seven illegal immigrants between October 23, and November 1 wanted for or convicted of various serious crimes.
Two subjects, both Mexican nationals, were previously convicted of homicide and voluntary manslaughter (Francisco Robles-Lopez, Hugo Salvador-Muniz).
One subject, an Ecuadorian national, had multiple felony convictions including rape and robbery (Manuel Zaruma-Pichizaca). Additionally, this subject was convicted for driving while intoxicated.
A Guatemalan national had two warrants for his arrest for rape of a child and burglary. Another Guatemalan national was previously convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 (Juan Diego Juarez-Juan).
Two Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members from Guatemala and Mexico were also arrested.
All subjects were apprehended for immigration violations, and processed for prosecution and removal proceedings in accordance with Tucson Sector prosecution guidelines.
