On Monday February 9, 2015, at approximately 1:00 pm., Tucson Police Department officers responded to the desert area northwest of 36th Street and Country Club Road reference a deceased male. Upon arrival officers located an adult male with obvious signs of trauma.
Detectives from the Homicide Unit responded to continue the investigation. At this time the death is being ruled as suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled to help determine cause and manor of death.
The victim in this incident has been identified as 48-year-old Mike Chambers. Next of kin have been notified.
