Lukeville CBP officers seize $510K in marijuana

3-6potTUCSON, Ariz. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Port of Lukeville arrested two Phoenix residents after discovering more than a half-ton of marijuana concealed within a recreational vehicle.More than 50 bundles of marijuana are seized by CBP officers at the Port of Lukeville

A 57-year-old man and 50-year-old woman attempted to pass through the port with 51 large packages of marijuana worth more than $510,000. Officers seized the RV and referred the couple to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
