Pinal County Sheriff’s Office reported that eastbound Hunt HWY was closed at Tumbling River due to Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Collision
Thursday at approximately 5:49 a.m., Pinal County Sheriff’s office received reports of a vehicle/pedestrian collision just south of Walmart on Hunt HWY, near Tumbling River.
The pedestrian was Transported to Banner Medical Center for serious injuries and was declared deceased at the medical center.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Unit is investigating the collision.
No impairment is suspected.
EB Hunt Hwy was closed for several hours for the duration of the investigation.
