The Mesa Police Department is asking for assistance from the community in identifying a suspicious person, who tried to lure a young girl into his vehicle.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at approximately 6:50 a.m., a juvenile female was in the area of Gilbert and University when she was contacted by an unknown White male who tried to coax her into his vehicle. She described the subject as 40 to 45-years-old, 5′ 08” tall, 250 pounds, grey thinning hair and wearing glasses with thick lenses.
The vehicle is described as a 1997-2004 regular cab white Ford F-150 pickup truck. There were dents and scratches over the entire vehicle.
