Police are working multiple shooting scenes this morning and at least five people have been injured, and one man was killed.
At approximately 8:30 a.m. police responded to the Tri City Motel near Alma School and Main Street, about a shooting. Apparently the shooter knew his three victims there.
Police then began receiving multiple additional calls for shootings in the surrounding area.
The suspect was taken into custody at approximately 1 p.m. from the Sorrento apartment complex near 8th Avenue and Dobson Road after he shot a man at that location.
The suspect was taken to an area hospital after being tasered by police, he was treated and released back into police custody.
The suspect’s identity has not yet been released.
Area schools were put in lockdown during the manhunt.
Reports indicate that police are investigating between four and six shooting scenes.
