The celebration of Tucson’s West Side culture and history of Barrio Hollywood will take place Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 19, from Noon to 7:00 p.m. This is ‘Free to the public’ and will take place on Grande Avenue (four blocks west of I-10) between Speedway Blvd. and St. Mary’s Road.
This 13th Anniversary a kick-off parade with floats, color guard, food, arts and craft, car show, carnival rides and games. There are two days of live music, ensemble groups, a car show, arts and crafts, lots of delicious food and beer. There will be activities featuring jumping castles, rock climbing and lots of games for young and old alike!
Fiesta Grande is a non-profit organization and thanks many groups and businesses for their sponsorship and support. Funds raised are used to support scholarships, community programs These lend support to the local schools and support for community programs at El Rio Neighborhood Center, local churches, and assistance for the elderly.
