They called him the “Average Joe Bandit,” but on Monday, he proved he was well below average.
Phoenix Police Robbery Unit in partnership with the Phoenix Police Robbery arrested 27-year-old Tyler Trammell, who is wanted in as many as five robberies. He had earned the nicknamed “Average Joe Bandit.”
Detective Steve Paul, a Phoenix Police robbery detective currently assigned to the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force was conducting follow up at a location previously robbed when the below average Joe entered the same location to commit another robbery.
Detective Paul recognized the suspect and followed him outside where he arrested him.
