Yavapai County Home Prices Increase

Data through February of 2015 that was released ths month by the Yavapai County Assessor, Pamela J. Pearsall, indicates that Single Family Residential median home prices continue increases year over year for February 2015.

The median sale price of a single family home for February 2015 was $241,500 compared to $230,000 from February 2014, resulting in a gain of 5.0%.

Assessor Pearsall noted, the median sales price of homes in Yavapai County for all of calendar year 2015 continues to hold an increase over 2014 and now stands at $237,000. This figure is up +3.3% over the $229,500 median sales price from calendar year 2014. The current 2015 median sales price includes sales from January up to and including any available recorded sales from March 2015.

The average square footage of homes sold in February of 2015 is 1,876 compared with 1,967 for February of 2014. The highest price paid for a home in February of 2015 was $1,629,000 for a 5,761 square foot residence while the lowest price paid was a HUD transaction of $39,000 for a 920 square foot residence.
