Black Lives Matter . . .

The so-called 1964 War on Poverty was essentially a war on black families

If black lives matter, more blacks would be protesting abortion than protesting police. In 2012, in New York City, more black babies were killed by abortion (31,328) than were born (24,758). In New York City, blacks make up 25% of the population yet had 46% of the abortions. Where are the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons and NAACP with regard to this black genocide?

In February 2012, George Zimmerman killed Travon Martin in self-defense. The false narrative promoted by black race hustlers, like Sharpton and Jackson, and the Justice Department was that Zimmerman was stalking Martin. In fact, Martin attacked Zimmerman. Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder. Despite its best efforts, the Justice Department could not find enough evidence for a federal hate crime prosecution, even after it had sent a number of Justice Department lawyers to support anti-Zimmerman protects. Black lies matter too.

In August 2014, after committing a strong-arm robbery at a local convenience store, Michael Brown attacked a police office while the officer was still in his car. In the struggle for the officer’s weapon, it discharged. Brown and his friend, Dorian Wilson, fled from the police vehicle with the police officer in pursuit. Brown turned to face the officer then charged at the officer. Brown was killed. All the bullets struck Brown in the front, contrary to Dorian Wilson’s false testimony. Black lies matter too.

Dorian Wilson testified that Brown’s hands were up and he was saying “don’t shoot.” Black witnesses contradicted Wilson, whose false narrative was picked up by Congressional leaders, professional athletes and the usual suspect race hustlers. The false narrative fueled the ensuing riots in Ferguson. Black lies matter too.

The grand jury decided not to indict the police officer. The Justice Department, despite its best efforts to hang a civil rights violation on the police officer, could not. The evidence did not exist.

In April 2015, Freddie Gray, a 25 year old black man with an extensive criminal record, was arrested by police at the direction of Marilyn Mosby, who ordered the police to target “that intersection for enhanced prosecutorial (and hopefully police) attention.” He apparently sustained injuries during or after the arrest. He went into a coma and died six days later. Before any of the facts were made public, blacks began rioting. At least twenty police officers were injured and 250 people arrested.

Rioters focused on burning police cars, stealing drugs from drug stores and cutting fire hoses in use to put out fires. Twenty-seven different pharmacies and two methadone clinics were looted. The Baltimore police commissioner said that enough drugs were stolen to keep Baltimore rioters intoxicated for a year.

Immediately after the riots in Baltimore, the black murder rate spiked. Year to date homicide in Baltimore stood at 111, up from 71 for the same period in 2014. Thirty-eight homicides occurred in May alone. Gun violence is up over 60% in Baltimore. The violence spread to other cities.

Homicides were up 180% in Milwaukee through May 17. In St. Louis, adjacent to Ferguson, through April, shootings were up 39%, robberies 43% and homicides 25%. In Atlanta, murders were up 32% by mid-May. In Chicago, shootings were up 24% and homicides 17%. In Los Angeles, shootings and violent felonies spiked 25%. Murder increased 13% in New York. Inner city statistics are even more startling. Shootings are up 500% in East Harlem (New York), while in South Central Los Angeles shooting victims are up 100%.

What do all these cities have in common? They are all Democrat plantations run by Democrat administrations. In many of these cities, the Democrat overseers are black themselves. Baltimore is a sad example. Within these Democrat plantations, blacks prey on blacks. What can be done to eliminate black on black crime?

First, the black community has to change its opinion and image of law enforcement. The police exist to protect people and preserve order. When the black community shuns the police, who fills the vacuum? Black thugs, drug dealers and violent criminals fill the void. Interview in Baltimore prove this point.

Second, the black community has to rebuild the black family. The family is the core. The family teaches values. The family teaches loyalty. The family teaches respect. Young black men can no longer impregnate women with impunity and leave their children fatherless.

Third, the very social programs promoted by Democrat administrations that have miserably failed need to be radically changed. The federal government has assisted in the destruction of the black family for far too long. Black lives have value. This Democrat sponsored black genocide must cease.

Fourth, when Democrat administrations fail to support their local police agencies, crime will spike. The Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, failed to support is police department. Violent crime increased. A sense of lawlessness has pervaded New York since de Blasio’s election as mayor. Baltimore is experiencing the same effect. City government must have the backs of our men and women in blue.

The so-called 1964 War on Poverty was essentially a war on black families. The out-of wedlock birth rate among blacks is three times higher that it was before the War on Poverty. Children raised in fatherless homes are more likely to be poor and engage in criminal behavior than children that were raised in two-parent homes.

Blacks have to question their loyalty to a political party that employed, and still employs, policies that promote multigenerational poverty that impacts primarily blacks and destroyed the structure of the black family in the inner city.
