Road Rage Leads To Marana Shooting

On July 2, 2015 at approximately 9:04 p.m., Marana Police responded to the Native Grill, located at 8225 N Courtney Page in response to a report of shots fired. Investigators learned that John Henderson Jr, age 38, was involved in a Road Rage incident with a couple at Cortaro and I-10.

Henderson followed the couple to the Native Grill and had a confrontation with the male. During the confrontation, Henderson produced a handgun and fired two shots. Two off duty Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies who were at a nearby restaurant heard the gunfire came over and detained Henderson for Marana Police.

Henderson booked into the Pima County Jail and charged with one count of Aggregated Assaulted with a Deadly Weapon. No injuries were reported.
