3 Arrested for Yavapai County Domestic Violence

On Wednesday evening July 8, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s office received call concerning a shot fired and a man yelling in the 4700 block of Joan Drive, in the Diamond Valley subdivision of Prescott. Deputies made contact with a 25-year-old female at a home on Joan Drive, later determined to be the incident location, and she claimed no knowledge of such activity.

As deputies continued to check the neighborhood, assisting deputies were attempting to locate a possible suspect vehicle – grey Dodge Durango with a Cardinals sticker visible in the back window. Deputies contacted several neighbors who were adamant the gunshot came from a particular home on Joan Drive where the deputies previously contacted the resident. In the meantime, assisting deputies had located and stopped the Dodge Durango along with 2 more associated vehicles on Highway 69 heading into Dewey.

Deputies returned to the home pointed out by witnesses and re-contacted the 25-year-old female resident who continued to deny any knowledge of a gunshot or fight. Deputies learned she lived in the house with her 26-year-old boyfriend and mother. While checking inside the home for evidence of a gunshot/assault, deputies learned that the female’s boyfriend who she claimed was at work, was driving the Dodge Durango and currently detained by deputies on Highway 69 along with her 3 brothers.

Following interviews with those at the traffic stop location and the female resident who eventually admitted an assault occurred on her property, deputies learned the following:

The identified suspects/brothers were told that their sister’s boyfriend had been disrespectful to their mother and went to the Diamond Valley home to confront him. A verbal argument resulted and apparently Marcus Foster struck the victim in the face with a chain while both were outside the home. At some point during the assault, Louis Agnetti discharged a handgun but it is unknown if the victim was his intended target. It was also alleged that John Agnetti assaulted the victim using a baseball bat. The victim was able to flee in his Dodge Durango but was followed by the suspects in two separate vehicles until deputies intervened.

The results of the investigation led to the arrest of 3 brothers – 39-year-old Marcus Foster from Prescott Valley for Aggravated Assault (F) and Disorderly Conduct, 22-year-old Louis Agnetti from Prescott Valley for Discharge of a Firearm (F) and Disorderly Conduct, and 20-year-old John Agnetti from Dewey for Disorderly Conduct.

  • The involved handgun was found in one of the suspect vehicles and held as evidence.
  • The victim had visible injuries sustained from the assault. He refused medical treatment.
  • The investigation continued Thursday in Diamond Valley.

All 3 were booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center and remain in-custody. Bond has not been set.
