Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio reports that his detectives have arrested a Suprise man for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
35-year-old Apollo Ryan Donofrio was taken into custody at his house this morning. Donofrio has lived at his home on West Young street with his mother.
A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office investigation involving the suspect’s activities was started in mid-November of last year by computer crime detectives. The investigation revealed extensive child pornography sharing that included approximately 104 files. After a search warrant was issued on February 24, 2015, it was determined that Donofrio was responsible for the sharing of the files to further include graphic videos of child pornography. The minors depicted were found to be between the ages of 5 and 13 years in age.
Donofrio was booked into 4th Avenue Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Class 2 Felonies.
