39-year-old Jason Michael Hooks arrested for voyeurism
Pima County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a case of voyeurism potentially involving a large number of victims. Investigators received a report on July 2, 2015 about a situation where victims had possibly been surreptitiously filmed or photographed at Cortech International, a temporary employment agency, located at 4555 S. Palo Verde Road.
Several hidden cameras were found inside of a women’s bathroom and under a manager’s desk.
Evidence recovered at the scene implicated the local manager, identified as 39-year-old Jason Michael Hooks, as a suspect. A search warrant was served on Hook’s residence and various computer related items were seized. The initial forensic examination of the evidence revealed images of multiple women using the business’ bathroom. After returning to Tucson from an out-of-state trip Hooks was arrested and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on July 9, 2015. He has been charged with 24 counts of Voyeurism.
Detectives expect the discovery of additional images over the course of the ongoing forensic examination of the seized materials. In an effort to identify the victims, detectives are asking women who have frequented this particular office of Cortech International from 2012 to the present, to contact the Sheriff’s Department.
