Tucson gadfly John Kromko and his group Tucson Traffic Justice was informed that the number of valid petition signatures has been determined to be just over 27,000 where the number required was 12,730.
According to the group, a sample of 2018 signatures was taken and 1358 signatures of that sample were determined to be valid.
There were more than twice the number of valid signatures than were required.
