East Valley residents should expect a temporary increase in airtanker aircraft overflights as the result of a wildfire located northeast of Carefree.
The U.S. Forest Service has increased its firefighting operations at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport with multiple aircraft arriving and departing during daylight hours.
