Pima County detectives are asking the public for help in the identification of a theft suspect. The incident occurred on July 27, 2015 at the Circle K located at 3712 W. Cortaro Farms Road.
The suspect initially entered the business at approximately 6:48 p.m., but left without taking or buying anything. He returned at approximately 6:54 p.m., carrying a duffle bag. The man went straight to storage room in the back of the store and filled his bag with almost $2,200 worth of cigarettes. He left the store without paying for the merchandise.
The suspect was described as a man in his twenties, approximately 5’7” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and grey pants.
The suspect was seen briefly interacting with another customer in the store. This was a young woman, possibly African-American with a light complexion. After making a purchase, she left the property in a white Chevrolet Suburban. She is a person of interest and detectives would like to talk to her.
