DPS Arrests Gang Members For Illegal Drugs & Weapons

Late last week Thursday and Friday the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Career Criminal Unit (CCU), with the assistance of DPS SWAT, served a search warrant at an auto repair business on the corner of Bethany Home Road and Interstate 17.

One gang member and two associate gang members were arrested and booked on charges ranging from conducting a criminal enterprise, sale of dangerous drugs, sale of narcotic drugs, misconduct involving weapons, misdemeanor warrant and a probation violation warrant.

Two firearms, a compound bow, a battle axe, as well as large amounts ammo were seized. Also seized for evidence was approximately two pounds of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and four vehicles. The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is $6,000.

The suspecta arrested were Joseph Leggitt , 41, Nicholas Leggitt, 35, and Jamie Ayala-Busby, 21.
