A major medical occurrence is most likely the cause of an early morning fatal crash at a home near N. George Way and E. Anastasia Street in San Tan Valley. A 64-year-old man never regained consciousness after crashing into his neighbor’s truck just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later.
The deceased’s Ford SUV had exited the roadway a couple houses west of the crash location and drove straight over shrubs prior to striking the truck in a residential driveway. First arriving deputies found the man without a pulse and began CPR until a Southwest ambulance crew took over and transported him to the hospital.
This was a low speed collision and the neighbor’s truck was unoccupied. There were no other injuries.
