Valley Partnership has announced the topic for its upcoming monthly breakfast on Friday, Nov. 20. This month’s program will feature a discussion on how the metropolitan Phoenix retail market continues to adjust to a changing economy.
The panel will feature Warren Fink, Chief Operating Officer, Carlyle Development Group; Chris Gerardo, Director of Leasing for the Southwest Region, Whitestone REIT; Jeff Moloznik, Vice President of Development, RED Development; and Christine Mackay, Economic Development Director, City of Phoenix. Moderating the panel will be Scott Nelson, Vice President of Development, Macerich.
“The traditional shopping hubs – malls and power centers – have gone through many changes in the last several years,” said Cheryl Lombard, CEO and President of Valley Partnership. “Everything from e-commerce to a demand for a more urban lifestyle has had a major effect on the traditional regional, enclosed mall.
“Valley Partnership is proud to feature creative and responsive leaders – real estate professionals and municipal leaders alike – that recognize the opportunity to create viable mixed-use projects that are community-centric and more focused on consumers’ daily needs and wants.”
