Facebook will be in Tucson to teach local veteran and military family small business owners how to optimize their presence and engage customers on the world’s largest social network.
Facebook’s veteran and military family-focused Boost Your Business will be held in Tucson in honor of Veterans Day, November 11. The event will be co-hosted by Team Red, White & Blue, with Congresswoman Martha McSally welcoming entrepreneurs.
“My efforts are focused on getting our veterans the resources and tools they need to be successful after their service, which is why I’m glad to welcome Facebook to Southern Arizona for their Boost Your Business Event,” said Congresswoman McSally. “The event provides veteran small business owners a chance to hear about expanding their reach online and get connected to local resources that will help their businesses grow. It’s a great opportunity for many who have served our country bravely and Southern Arizona’s small business community.”
The Boost Your Business seminar will include a presentation by a Facebook small business expert on the latest Facebook best practices and strategies for success. A question and answer session will follow, featuring a panel of local small business people that will share their Facebook tips, tricks and suggestions.
Before the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of local business development organizations and hear about community resources during the networking session.
