ISIS Apprehensions Prove Ducey Right For Enhanced Border Security Request
On Thursday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey said confirmation U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to Breitbart Texas that a group composed of 5 Pakistani men and 1 man from Afghanistan was captured by U.S. Border Patrol agents after having illegally crossed the porous U.S.-Mexico border in the Tucson Sector of Arizona, that he was correct in calling for enhanced border security.
“This latest incident only reinforces the need to take our national security seriously on all fronts. News like this is very troubling, especially in light of new threats on the United States from ISIS in a video released in just the last 24 hours,” said Ducey in a statement released on Thursday.
“Our state is grateful to the law enforcement officials and agents on the ground who made these apprehensions, but more vigilance is needed at all levels. I’ve been consistent in saying we want to partner with the federal government, as we have been through our border strike force efforts,” continued Ducey.

Caution! You May Live In The Radical Mosque Zone
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve called for the “dissolution” of radical mosques following last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people. Belgium’s Prime Minister, Charles Michel threatened similar action in his country where the attacks were staged.
Neither President Obama nor other officials in his administration, however, have spoken of shutting down radical mosques in the U.S. But U.S. reticence about taking actions now being implemented by France and Belgium isn’t for a lack of mosques in this country in which hatred for American values and support for jihad terrorism are regularly heard.
There are more than 80 radical mosques in the U.S., according to the Clarion Project, a non-profit group that describes itself as “dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamist extremism.”
The Islamic Center of Tucson was “basically the first cell of al-Qaeda in the United States,” terrorism expert Rita Katz told The Washington Post in 2002. “At least a dozen terror-linked individuals have been tied to the” center, according to the Clarion Project.

In August of 2014, Ahmed Mohammed El Gammal, aka Jammie Gammal, 42, of Avondale, Arizona, was recruiting ISIL members. Gammal shared his “expertise” during that period through video footage with Facebook “friends.”
Jammie Gammal was indicted this week for providing and conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), as well as for aiding and abetting the receipt of military-type training from ISIL and conspiring to receive such training.

“As alleged, Ahmed Mohammed el Gammal actively touted online his support for ISIL and its terrorist ways, ultimately meeting and assisting a New York college student to travel to Syria to obtain military training from ISIL,” said U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara of the Southern District of New York.
