With the recent terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, the Tucson Police Department recognizes the need to provide information to citizens in our community regarding what they can do when faced with an active shooter or other violent encounter.
Beginning this month, TPD will hold an active shooter/violent encounter presentation. Due to the size of the room available, the class size will be limited. However, the presentation will be made available for the next several months to allow those interested many opportunities to be able to attend.
The first presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the city’s west side. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to TPDPIO@tucsonaz.gov with the following information:
