The victim of December 23, 2015 homicide has been identified as 18-year old Nathan Cabadas of Glendale.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. Glendale Police officers responded to a reported shooting at 7900 N. 51st Avenue. Officers arrived to find Cabadas in the parking lot at this location who had suffered a gunshot wound. The Glendale Fire Department treated the victim on-scene but he was pronounced deceased. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still be investigated by detectives. At this time, it appears that Cabadas was involved in a physical altercation with one suspect when he was shot by a second suspect. Those suspects are only described as young, black males that left southbound in a vehicle.
