Chandler Police Officers Saved Christmas

On Christmas Eve, Chandler Police saved Santa a headache after thieves stole his gifts.

A family had stored their gifts in the car, waiting for the children to fall asleep, according to Chandler Police, and when they went out to get the gifts, they found that a thief had broken into the car and took everything.

The parents called the police to report the incident. Upon hearing this call, Chandler Police Officers acted fast, and at 2:30 in the morning, contacted the W. Steven Martin Toy Drive. By 4:00 a.m., Officers O’Bryan, Brill and Barker, along with ID Tech Caminiti delivered a car load of gifts they had picked out and wrapped at the W. Steven Martin warehouse.

Police told Facebook “friends,” say that these “thoughtful employees were not going to let a thief ruin Christmas for this family. They even stuck around to see the children open the gifts.”
