Jesus Angel Serrano pleaded guilty to a 16 count criminal indictment, which included Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Theft of a Firearm, and Prohibited Possessor charges.
In February of last year, Serrano entered the Blue Moon Smoke Shop, he stole a firearm and store merchandise from the clerk. The next day, Serrano used that stolen gun to hold up Eegees’ employees at gunpoint. He was chased and caught by Tucson Police Department as he left Eegees. Serrano has one arm.
Serrano faces a minim of 10.5 years in prison at sentencing. A sentencing hearing is scheduled February 9, 2016, in Superior Court Judge Carmine Cornelio’s Courtroom.
