The Tucson Police Department had sought the public’s assistance in attempting to identify a who is considered a person of interest in a hit and run collision involving a bicyclist. The collision occurred in the afternoon in the area of South Craycroft Road and East 25th Street.
The suspect has now been identified and taken into custody. Troy Gosnell, age 46, was identified as the driver. Gosnell was booked into the Pima County Jail for Felony Hit & Run and Aggravated Assault w/Serious Physical Injury.
The victim suffered serious injuries, but is recovering.
