On Thursday, February 18, 2016, at approximately 7:00 a.m., investigators with the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 5710 E. 32nd Street, #57 in Yuma, AZ. The investigation led to the discovery of approximately one ounce of methamphetamine, paraphernalia consistent with street sales, narcotic pills, marijuana, and two firearms.
The suspect of the search warrant, Robert Benson, 46, of Yuma, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, being a prohibited firearms possessor, and possessing a firearm during a drug offense.
