The Tucson Police Department is currently investigating a homicide in the 2600 block of South Mission Road.
On February 22, 2016, around 1:30 a.m., officers from Operations Division South responded to the area of South Mission Road near West 36th Street reference a check welfare on a male in the desert area. Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased male with obvious signs of trauma. The male has been identified as 52-year-old Gregory Marsh. Next of kin has been notified.
Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene to continue the investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time. The detectives are urging anyone with information to please call 88-CRIME.
