Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office detectives booked Gerardo Silva, DOB 9/1/1976 into 4th avenue jail on 1ct of sexual exploitation of a minor, a class 2 felony, on Friday.
On March 7th, Gerardos Silvas step-daughter told her mother Beatrice that Gerardo had been molesting her for the last 2 years, with the most recent incident happening on March 7th. Beatrice called in the report to MCSO and patrol deputies responded to Beatrice’s home in Maricopa County.
Gerardo Silva admitted to receiving nude photos of his minor step-daughter during a confrontation call set up by detectives but claimed that he never touched her. The case was turned over to detectives and is currently an ongoing investigation and possibly more charges pending.
