
On May 24, Flagstaff Police officers and the Metro Narcotics Unit worked in partnership with the FBI Northern Arizona Safe Streets Task Force in attempting to locate Kenneth Ray Bastidos who has an active arrest warrant for first degree murder out of Adams County, Colorado.
Bastidos is a suspect in the shooting death of Michael House, at a hotel in Lakewood, Colorado.
On Sunday, May 15, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Flagstaff Police Department received a call from a victim who had run into a hotel at 2918 E. Route and advised she had been traveling with Bastidos. Bastidos fled the area.
Through an ongoing investigation, information was learned Bastidos was back in the Flagstaff area on Tuesday morning. After learning this information, Metro Narcotic agents were in the area of the 2600 block of E. Huntington when they spotted a subject who matched the description of Bastidos. While coordinating with the FBI Denver Division, officers and agents from the FBI Northern Arizona Safe Streets Task Force, Flagstaff Police Department, and the Metro Narcotics Unit took the suspect into custody without incident.
