Jose Garcia, age 29, has been arrested for stabbing a victim in the neck during an argument.
On April 23, 2016 Garcia stole multiple items from the 7-Eleven convenient store near Broadway and Kolb. Garcia was with a 2 to 3 year old female child at the time.
As he left the store, he got into the passenger side of a green colored station wagon, driven by an adult female.
When the vehicle backed out it struck a pedestrian in the parking lot, which led to a verbal altercation between Garcia and the victim. During the argument Garcia pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck. The victim’s injuries were thankfully non- life threatening. Garcia fled before police were able to arrive on scene.
