The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that Lashawn Johnson has been arrested on homicide charges in connection to death of 25-year-old Angela Russo. The body of Russo discovered in a desert area in Maricopa County on Sunday.
Russo had been missing since April 19.
Johnson was arrested while in jail for unrelated charges.
According to CBS5, a family friend said Russo’s body was found off the I-10 with her car burned nearby.
