Phoenix Mother Suspected Of Killing 3 Sons

A Phoenix mother is suspected of killing her three young sons Wednesday night before stabbing herself. According to authorities, the woman, age 29, was acting erratically immediately prior to the murders.

Her brother told Phoenix Police that he arrived home from work just after midnight, and his sister met him in the garage, according Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump. The sister was reportedly talking about religion, and “having found the answer to her problems.” The sister then back into the home and locked the brother out of the house.

The brother then forced his way into the home and found his sister locked in a bathroom. He found her with several self-inflicted stab wounds. She had stabbed herself in the abdomen and the neck. He left the home to find towels and call 911 only to return to find her trying to drown herself in the bathroom.

Police and firefighters arrived and she was transported to an area hospital. She is currently in critical condition.

Officers found the three boys, ages 8, 5 and 2 months old dead in a bedroom closet. Jaikare Rahaman, age 8, and Jeremiah Adams, age 5, were found in a closet. Avery Robinson, age 2 months, was found inside a suitcase.

The home belonged to the woman’s mother.

According to Sgt. Crump, “It happened in a relatively short time frame. The time frame was between 11:30 and 12:30. The mother had left to go to work about 11:30, and the brother arrived shortly after 12:30.”
