At approximately 7:20 p.m. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 5700 Block of E. Canyon Ridge North Dr. in Cave Creek. When Sheriff’s deputy’s arrived on scene they found that the 2 year old little girl’s grandmother had pulled her out of the hot tub and began CPR.
Sheriff’s deputies took over CPR until Rural Metro Fire arrived and they took over and continued CPR during ground transport to a local area hospital where the little girl was pronounced deceased.
According to authorities, at this time it is determined that she had been under water for approximately several minutes before her grandmother found her and began CPR.
