Vehicle Found In Richey Homicide Investigation

Suspect left front bumper at the crime scene owner says he loaned vehicle

The vehicle belonging to the bumper left at the scene of the shooting that occurred on June 28, 2016, around 8:10 p.m.,  in the 3100 block of N. Richey Blvd. has been identified and located.

On June 28, officers responded to the Richey scene and found 30-year-old Enrique Bracamonte in the roadway with obvious signs of gunshot trauma and immediately began rendering aid. Members from the Tucson Fire Department arrived on scene a short time later and transported Mr. Bracamontemale to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Shortly after arrival at the hospital, Mr. Bracamonte was pronounced deceased.

Detectives learned that the owner had loaned his vehicle to an acquaintance earlier that week. The owner saw the story on the news and called police after his vehicle was returned damaged and missing the front bumper. Detectives have identified the driver, but are still interested in speaking with the other occupants of the vehicle.

Anyone who has information, or was present at the time of the shooting, is encouraged to call 88-CRIME. You CAN remain anonymous.
