On August 1, 2016, Sierra Vista Police Department arrested 28-year-old James Nobles of Sierra Vista following an investigation by the Special Operations Bureau.
Earlier that day, Sierra Vista Police received a report that Nobles was texting two juvenile girls, ages 16 and 17, with inappropriate messages.
The investigation revealed that Nobles’ communication with the 17-year-old victim was sexual in nature, and that communications with the 16-year-old victim, also sexual in nature, included a request for photographs.
During the investigation, Police discovered that Nobles had sent a sexually explicit photo to the 17-year-old victim and that he had made plans to meet with her in order to engage in sexual contact.
Nobles is charged with two counts of aggravated luring a minor and two counts of luring a minor. He is currently being held at the Cochise County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
