As a veteran with two tours overseas (Vietnam and Korea), I can sympathize with the Khan family over the loss of their son. However, to hide behind a gold star and attack a political candidate . . . have you no shame Mr. Khan. Is your son’s sacrifice so meaningless that you would shill for the Democratic Party?
A shill, aka stooge or plant, is a person who publicly helps or gives credibility to a person or organization without disclosing he or she has a close relationship with the person or organization. A shill may also act to discredit opponents or critics of the person or organization in which they have a vested interest through character assassination or other means.
Mr. Khan, you are a shill of the worst order. You accused Donald Trump and stated, “You have sacrificed nothing.” Hillary Clinton has sacrificed nothing but you did not accuse her. In fact, Mr. Khan, you have sacrificed nothing; your son sacrificed everything.
Mr. Khan, you appear to have close connections with the Democrats for years through your former law firm, Hogan and Hartson, now and Hogan Lovells LLP. Your firm did Hillary Clinton’s taxes for years. Hogan Lovell also represented Saudi Arabia, a Clinton Foundation donor. The stench of dishonesty reeks from your actions.
You described yourselves as patriotic American Muslims. Then you hid behind your son’s gold star to engage in an orchestrated attack on Hillary Clinton’s opponent. You pulled a pocket Constitution out of your breast pocket and asked Donald Trump, “Have you even read the United States Constitution?”
It is obvious, Mr. Khan, that you have not read our Constitution or any of our laws regarding immigration, e.g., 8 USC Section 1182. This law allows the president to deny immigration to those who wish to harm America. You should know that. And your current law firm specializes in Muslim immigration. I find this interesting. More interesting is you pulled your law firm’s web page from the Internet. You are just another Democrat attorney making money off of immigration.
You claimed that Trump’s plans were unconstitutional. Your claim was false, as you well knew being an immigration lawyer. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows the president to bar migration of any alien or class of aliens the president sees as a threat to the United States for any reason at any time.
We now know that your appearance at the Democratic Convention was planned in advance, as was your premeditated attack on Donald Trump. You hid behind your Muslim obedient silent wife and your son’s gold star to camouflage this political attack. It did not work. You have sullied your son’s sacrifice through political avarice. You have brought shame on your family name.
I also find it interesting that you claim to be a patriotic Muslim but I have never heard you denounce the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, ISIL or Islamo-fascist terror. Why not, Mr. Khan? You maliciously attacked Donald Trump. You have a history of criticizing “U.S. wars” and complained that America has created chaos in Muslim countries.
Mr. Khan, too bad you don’t feel as strongly about the Muslim terrorist attack on “9/11” . . .
. . . or the Little Rock shootings by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammed on June 1, 2009 . . .
. . . or the Ft. Hood massacre by Major Nidal Hasan on November 5, 2009 . . .
. . . or the April 15, 2013, Boston Marathon bombing by Tamerian and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev . . .
. . . or the September 25, 2014 beheading in Oklahoma . . .
. . . or the killing spree of Muhammed Brown in Washington and New Jersey in 2014 . . .
. . . or the killings of five people by Mohammed Abdullazees on July 16, 2015 in Chattanooga . . .
. . . or the December 2, 2015, killg of 14 people and wounding of another 21 by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik in San Bernadino . . .
. . . or the June 12, 2016, murders of 49 people and the wounding of 53 others by Omar Mateen . . .
You, Mr. Khan, have professed sharia law supersedes the United States Constitution. You are a traitor to the ideals, values and mores of America.
Mr. Khan, you are a despicable disgrace to your adopted country, your faith and your son’s memory . . . may God hold him dear.
