The pedestrian killed in last Wednesday’s collision at Camino Seco & Bropadway has been identified as 60-year-old Michael Gauthier. Next of kin have been notified.
Michael Gauthier was running southbound across Broadway Boulevard, east of Camino Seco and was not in a crosswalk. As the pedestrian ran over the median and entered the eastbound lanes of traffic, he was struck by a gray, 2010 Chrysler Sebring that was eastbound in the median lane.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
