The former Miss Universe — who has made multiple headlines after Hillary Clinton brought up her name during the first presidential debate — said she became bulimic and anorexic after Trump teased her about the weight she gained months after she won the crown.
But during an interview on “The Kelly File” Tuesday, Megyn Kelly questioned Machado about a quote she gave to the Washington Post in 1997 about her eating disorders — where she said she had them before the pageant.
“The Trump campaign can’t really deny that he harassed you over your weight, because it’s on camera many times,” Kelly said. “They seem to be denying the specific charges Hillary leveled, which is the language of ‘Miss Piggy’ and ‘Miss Housekeeping.’”
