Suspect Identified In Pima County Double Homicide

On Saturday, October 15, 2016, just after 7:00 p.m., Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to a residence in the 5800 block of South Swinging A for a report of two deceased individuals inside of a home. When they arrived, deputies discovered 48-year-old Carlos Rendon and 18-year-old Jackelyne Padilla deceased inside of the residence with apparent gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. After speaking with multiple witnesses, they were able to identify a suspect 49-year-old Raymond Manny Valencia, as a suspect in the case.

Valencia is described as:
• Hispanic
• 5’4” in height, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes
• Tattoos on his neck and tattoo sleeves on both arms

It is believed that Mr. Valencia is still armed and dangerous, and may be driving a white Ford Ranger with “Gila Pool Service” placards on the vehicle.
