On October 13, 2016, around 4:00 p.m., an unknown male entered the Washington Federal Bank at 4910 E. Broadway Blvd armed with a handgun and wearing a disguise. The male pointed the handgun at several tellers and demanded money. The male was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot. He was last seen southbound on Niven Ave.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 40’s, 5’9″ to 6′ with a medium build. He was last seen wearing overalls, a long sleeve plaid shirt, a reddish or auburn wig with ponytail, a dark baseball cap, and mirrored sunglasses.
