Identity Over Policy?

RE: When Swaying Voters, A Candidate’s Identity Can Matter More Than Their Policies

This research reveals a critical milestone in the transformation of America! (The very title of the article implies psychological voter manipulation by a candidate!)

Will we restore America by Individual thought and action, or will our Greatest Nation be piped over the cliff into the Abyss by Group-think?

The Duke University study confirms the relative success of the collectivist (statist/progressive) program for transforming America from Liberty to Tyranny via control of public education by “public instruction.” Applied from the top down and back to the top: College/University to Teacher Colleges to K-12 to Early Childhood Education to Conception (the latter two, AKA: “Infants and Toddlers”) and back, to “higher education.” (For a related article, see http://arizonadailyindependentarchives.com/2016/10/17/teacher-colleges-accountable/ )

The core of collectivist philosophy is a fictitious social structure projected upon an imaginary Mankind-created “heaven on earth” populated by a Human Collective Hive controlled by a brainlike group of Power Elites ruling the rest of Mankind, comprised of a global master group of enslaved worker drones, in-turn containing subgroups according to their social purpose. No group would be individually differentiated. No individuality would be tolerated.

Therefore, all group action would require social identity with one’s own group. (Which, of course, implies individuality, but that’s just one of the many logical ways to debunk the entire collectivist philosophy!)

We have been slowly indoctrinated to identify with groups, as the collectivists have deliberately infused their hive philosophy into our culture while supplanting logic, reason and absolutes in our schools with secular humanism, junk “science” and moral relativism.

Collectivists like Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama are excellent examples of this indoctrination’s relative success. They identify people as groups, demonizing or praising them according to the principles or characteristics represented by each group.

If a particular individual stands-out from his group, they use Saul Alinsky’s tactic of polarizing and demonizing him in order to destroy him; like focusing a laser beam on a cancer cell.

In fact, they would liken that individual to a cancer cell in their irrational desire to destroy him.

So, the Duke University research says that many Americans have been indoctrinated to reflexively identify with their “social groups.” (I know; they don’t acknowledge indoctrination, nor multiple groups, but, I just can’t ignore that indoctrination is either causing or capitalizing upon their identity effect, nor imply that if our associations could be categorized by social identity there would only be one such group; considering that most of us live in our own “individual” multi-verses that could each be conceivably categorized as “groups.”)

The researchers further cite social and behavioral psychology research and conclude that the immediate reward perceived as “a sense of community with others who voted for a specific party” holds a compelling force that may cause you to vote with “everybody you know,” regardless of the candidate’s policy and its potential long-term effect on you (or your “group,” or the Nation!).

It appears that the collectivists have succeeded in psychologically transforming many Americans into social drones. Which would explain why so many people seem to have no clue how to cast meaningful votes.

But, in their third numbered paragraph, “What you value more . . .,” the authors give us hope: They imply that a decision is still dependent upon how we think about the question. “When people think more about identity, . . . then that diminishes the effect of policies upon their votes.”

If we can still “think” about identity—or not—the indoctrination is not total!

We are still Free to Choose!

And, there is hope that, as our Fellow-Americans continue to awake from indoctrinated sleep, we will be blessed to overcome the Collectivist Agenda and restore our Republic and Our Liberty under God!

LIBERTY begins in our OWN Backyard!
