
On October 25, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Burger King located at 1960 West River Road for the report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived they learned two armed men entered the restaurant and demanded money. The suspects were given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled east from the restaurant. Robbery/Assault detectives have been assigned the case and are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspects who were caught on surveillance video.
The first suspect is described as:
• Hispanic or African American
• Last seen wearing a dark colored hat, with a dark bandana covering his face, a baggy black shirt, black shorts, and black shoes
• Armed with what appeared to be an AK-47 style rifle
The second suspect is described as:
• Hispanic
• Last seen wearing a brown or orange hat, a dark bandana covering his face, a black shirt, baggy black shorts with a red emblem on back right pocket, and black high top shoes.
• He was armed with a black handgun
