Oro Valley Teen Cat Thieves Identified

OVPD asks for help identifting Petsmatt cat thieves

Oro Valley – The Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) is thanking the public for assisting in the identification of two teenage cat thieves.

The teens entered the Petsmart located in the 10600 block of north Oracle Road and snatched a cat that was up for adoption. Both teens fled the store with the cat.

The cat, Amiga, was safely returned to Petsmart. Amiga was uninjured and in good health. The investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
